Your Nav Bar Here

Hey Dee Hey

So listen. It's 2012. Are you loving it or what? 2012 is going to be a great year. I can just tell. It's going to be full of wonderful things. Count on it. I've been working on a few new things this year. I'm not one for new years resolutions, but I do love a good fresh start every now and then.

Reality check time (Grab your tissues): My best friend 'o life went to Spain for a year. She is busy eating eggs with potatoes, and hiking, and speaking a beautiful language. I miss her so much I could cry, or curse, or litter. So I take all my blogging/writing abilities and cram them into overly dramatic emails for her to read, and have neglected my already neglected blog.

Do me a favor. If you have a best friend who is not in Spain. Give them the biggest hug of your life. Tell them you like their new shoes. Watch a funny youtube video together. Recall the embarassing time you ate granola together. Recite some inside jokes. And then tell them, for the love of everything, never to go to Spain unless they pinky promise to take you with. Learn from my mistakes.

Now it's time for some binizz. I'm going through an existential crisis. I'm not really sure what the purpose of this blog is anymore. Plus this punk kid told me my blog is lame. He is lame. I hope he reads that. (Colton). Anyways. Maybe I'll turn this into one of those blogs where I post pictures of cute animals and crochet tutorials. Maybe I'll make one of those blogs where I put on vintage clothes and take pictures of myself looking at the ground and then tell you where to buy each item. Or maybe I will just keep sporadically posting whenever I feel like it.

Deal? Deal.

To the Greatest Lil' Sis Ever!!!

From: Your Family

We love you! Happy 21st Birthday! We hope that the last 21 days have found you noticing a bit of our love sprinkled throughout your life. If you hadn't figured it out, the gifts and presents that were appearing at your apartment came from the whole family. We want to make sure that you know that we know that you are the greatest little sister to ever have lived.

We appreciate everything you bring to our family: your smile, your humor, your kindness (even when we tease you pretty relentlessly), your advice, your interest in our lives, your example, your testimony, your love, your cuteness (because Heaven knows none of the boys help in that department), and so many other wonderful attributes that make you who you are.

We feel honored to call you our sister/daughter. And to show you how much we love you we've decided to post these:

Happy Birthday Lil' Sis! We love you!

Love,
Your whole family

Mysteries and List Checkin

First of all. My shift key stopped shifting. Lame, I know.
Second of all. Some mystery person keeps leaving mysterious treats/gifts on my doorstep.
I, for the life of me, cannot figure out who.
I thought I had a pretty darn good idea.
But the clues just don't add up. I just can't figure it!
Anyways. If any of you have any experience in some serious detective work. Or have any access to a fingerprinting kit. Let me know.
Second of all. Do you want to check some sturff off of the list? Of course you do.

This weekend my brodawg Christian and I went to visit my grandma. Our intention was to surprise her, but it turns out that Christian and I are terrible at surprising people. But it didn't matter. We still got to see her. We chatted about the NBA over fancy ice cream bars. Then the next day the whole Eddington clan picked apples from off her trees and consequently I made apple crisp sunday night. Check, Check and Half check. (that was too many checks, I know, but it's catchier this way, trust me)

Also, I registered for the Halloween Half. Now all I need is a tutu. Tootoo? Twotwo?
A ballerina costume.

Anyways. I need to go for a jiggity jog.

Ciao for now!
